Karli Evening Yoga

At this time of the evening, we are usually tired from an active or inactive day. Karli likes to help participants to find their own inner balance by combining both Yang and Yin energy. Karli guides participants to slow down in this class by practicing some gentle Yoga movements on the floor, for example, the Cat sequences and stretch our bodies in six spinal movements to help balance our spinal column and soften our muscles and ligaments. Then we finish with some long Restorative Poses using props such as the wall, chair or bolsters and/or practice long sitting meditation either on the floor or chair.  We may practice some Pranayama techniques and study Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras depending each class’ needs.
